We are more than just an interior design firm. We also have team members who have the knowledge to tackle tougher works, such as renovation and additions to building exteriors, including architectural designs. This includes add-on structures to the external balcony, or revision of the looks of a condominium building entrance. And these are just possible examples.
Some exciting works which we are working on currently include the revamp of Orchard Point building, situated along Orchard Road in the Somerset district. Supermarket retailer HAO Mart will be taking over a space in the building, and have engaged Design Bureau to take care of the interior design works to contemporise both the interior and exterior looks, to keep the brand relevant, in competition with the surrounding. The 150,000 sq ft space will have more than just a supermarket, but also retail options and F&B outlets.
Another interesting project that the Design Bureau team is currently undertaking is the refreshing of the exteriors (entrances and building add-ons) of 27 year-old condominium project Richmond Park. Located at Bideford Road, amidst newer looking private homes in the vicinity, Richmond Park hopes that the refresh and revamp project will add value to the freehold residential estate that is just minutes away from town.

Our dynamic Design Consultant Team
Led by our Project Director William Tan, the Design Bureau team has five different departments, working with close partners who are essentially part of our integrated design and construction group, ably taking care of every aspect of the design and construction process, to ensure we produce only works of the best quality.
Our close knit team of Interior Designers, spearheaded by Head of Design Serlyn Tan, sews together creativity and practicality, listening to the client’s every needs and wants, and suggests only the best solutions that comfortably works and fits within their budget. The team of designers, including Goh Chun Kiat, Sebastian Gan and Valerie Kho, all have had years of experience tackling different types of interior design works, and have exposure to a wide-range of creative designs and perspectives, and are able to produce exciting works that are an art in themselves.
Our Architectural team consists of the renown Y2G Design Studio, who works closely with C2D Solutions and Shevs Ift Consultant, our Fire Engineering section. We also have on board Landscape Architect Chen Wah Landscape, who will together design and guide the construction of the exteriors and interiors of a project where necessary.
When it comes to the Mechanical and Electrical works, we have the experts from across the field to take care of the different needs, from wirings and cabling, to the machinery and devices employed. Our partners in the team are all prominent players in the sector, including JY Lee Consulting, C2D Solutions, Delta Quest, Lew, and WSI Works.
For projects involving civil construction and engineering, as well as structural works, we have on board the good people from Millenniums and LC Engineer, plus accredited checkers from Engineers 2002. This is to ensure that any major construction work are safe and approved, promising to uphold the integrity of the building and structure.
And with all construction works, we only hand it over to the client when we are able to confirm that everything is in place and well. Our development, design and construction phases are all properly planned, surveyed and accredited. We have in our team LCH Quantity Survey to keep costs and any legal matters intact and in check. Before any major construction works begin on ground, we have City Surveyors, our Precon Surveyor, to do the necessary integrity checks on the surrounding vicinity. Working closely with our electrical engineering team, MJK Consultants serve as our Cable Detection partners to make sure all cables and wiring works do not disturb the larger plans.
